Rikki Tikki Tavi

This site is dedicated to the timeless story of Rikki Tikki Tavi, the bravest mongoose in history. It was originally part of "The Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling, written in 1894.

Did you know that Meerkats are in the same family as the Mongoose? If you've ever seen "Meerkat Manor" as the meerkats "mob" a snake and bob & weave together to drive the predator away, you'll see some of that same behaviour.
